Association of Latvian Organisations in South Australia
The Association of Latvian Organisations in South Australia (DLOA) aims are to:
- Represent South Australians of Latvian heritage on a state level and to other institutions, as the need arises.
- Preserve the existing Latvian culture and support it’s development, which brings benefits to Latvians and the Latvian community.
- Promote and support the Adelaides Latvian school, conferences and other activities, that help with the education of the Latvian language, literature, history and other cultural aspects.
DLOA chairperson Skaidrīte Auguļēviča, Vice-chairperson – Mārīte Rumpe, Treasurer – Ilmārs Bumbieris, Secretary – Iveta Leitase, consultant with authority to represent DLOA when chair or vice chair unavailable – Malda Ceplīte; DLOA representative on Baltic Council – Jolanta Lūsis, DLOA representative to LAAJ – Mārīte Rumpe; DLOA representative on Adelaide Latvian school council – Malda Ceplītis Iveta Leitase.
