The Cultural Fund of the World Federation of Free Latvians (PBLA KF) is preparing for the allocation of their annual achievement recognition prizes for 2016. PBLA KF invites submission of candidate nominations in the categories of: humanities and social sciences, craft arts, music, teaching, journalism, writing, dance, theatre and fine arts. Similarly, candidate nominations are invited for prizes in the technical and natural sciences category. Candidate nominations are to be received by PBLA KF by 1st April, 2016.
Candidates for the PBLA KF prizes are required to be living outside of Latvia, and to have recognised, worthwhile achievements as Latvian authors, artists, composers or having enriched society through their work in cultural, educational or youth projects. Prizes can also be bestowed upon non-Latvians, living outside of Latvia, who have actively contributed to the enrichment and promotion of the Latvian cultural identity outside of Latvia.

Pasaules brīvo latviešu apvienības Kultūras fonds (PBLA KF) aicina līdz šī gada 1. aprīlim pieteikt kandidātus 2016. gada PBLA Kultūras fonda apbalvojumiem humanitāro un sociālo zinātņu, lietišķās mākslas, mūzikas, pedagoģijas, preses, rakstniecības, deju, teātra un tēlotājmākslas nozarē. Tāpat pieteikumi tiek pieņemti apbalvojumiem tehnisko un dabas zinātņu nozarē.
Par PBLA Kultūras fonda godalgas kandidātiem izvirzāmi ārpus Latvijas dzīvojoši, panākumiem bagāti latviešu autori, mākslinieki, komponisti, kultūras, izglītības un jaunatnes darbinieki, kā arī cittautieši, kuri veicina latviešu kultūras atpazīstamību ārpus Latvijas.
