The World Federation of Free Latvians (PBLA) Education branch anounced in February, 2016, a competition ‘ I had sufficient song’, in which diaspora school children from the ages of 7-18 were invited to participate.
The first stage of the competition diaspora schools were invited to research a Latvian folk song, with the aim of promoting a love of folk songs among Latvian children living overseas, and giving them the opportunity to research, analyse, as well as sing.
The Education Branch of the PBLA has extended the date to submit entries in the first stage. The new cut off date is the 20th of July. In this way, schools which still have not had the opportunity to complete their research, will be able to utilise the extended period to finish and submit their research.

PBLA Izglītības padome 2016. gada februārī izsludināja akciju “Man dziesmiņu nepietrūka”, kurā aicināti piedalīties diasporas skolu bērni un jaunieši vecumā no septiņiem līdz 18 gadiem.
Akcijas pirmajā posmā latviešu diasporas skolu skolēni aicināti veikt pētījumus par latviešu tautasdziesmām, ar mērķi veicināt ārzemēs dzīvojošo latviešu bērnu un jauniešu cieņu un mīlestību pret latviešu tautasdziesmām, radot iespēju tās pētīt un analizēt, kā arī izdziedāt.
PBLA IP ir nolēmusi pagarināt akcijas pirmā posma iesniegšanas termiņu. Jaunais iesniegšanas termiņš ir 20. jūlijs. Šādā veidā skolas, kas vēl nav paspējušas pilnībā pētījumus nobeigt, var izmantot šo papildus laiku, nesteidzoties tos nobeigt un iesniegt.
