The folk dancing concert will be based on one of the most beautiful moments in the Latvian countryside, harvest. When everyone has worked hard, there is also much singing and dancing, when everyone rejoices together in the bountiful harvest.
Folk dancing groups from Adelaide, Auseklītis, from Melbourne, Ritenītis and of course our own Sydney’s Jautrais Pāris will all be participating.
This year the folk dancing concert will be held at Sydney Latvian House in the Large Hall, on 30th of December at 4pm. The performance will be held in the middle of the hall: the intimate atmosphere of Latvian House will allow everyone to truly live alongside the workers, closely watch the dance steps and wonder at the amazing folk costumes!
Tickets for the Youth Festival can be bought at our website www.35aljd.weebly.com. People residing in Sydney can also buy tickets at the bookshop ‘Rīga’. To visu piedzīvosim Austrālijas Latviešu 35. Jaunatnes dienu tautas deju uzvedumā. Uzvedumā izdejosim vienu no skaistākiem gada laikiem latviešu lauku dzīvē, talku, kad tika novākta raža, grūti strādāts, kā arī daudz dziedāts un dejots, visiem kopā priecājoties par bagātīgo ražu.
Uzvedumā piedalīsies Adelaides “Auseklītis”, Melburnas “Ritenītis”, un protams paši mājenieki, Sidnejas “Jautrais pāris”.
Tautas deju uzvedums šogad notiks Sidnejas Latviešu nama Lielajā zālē, 2017. g. 30. Decembrī, pulkstens 16:00. Uzvedums notiks zāles centrā: Latviešu nama intīmā atmosfērā varēsit tiešām dzīvot talciniekim līdzi, smalki izpētīt deju soļus, un apbrīnot skaisti izšūtos tautas tērpus.
Jaunatnes dienu biļetes var iegādāties elektroniski mūsu mājas lapā www.35aljd.weebly.com. Sidnejiešiem arī būs iespējams biļetes iegādāties SLB grāmatnīcā “Rīga”.
