Building Bridges – Australasian 2016 Conference
The 2016 Australasian AABS conference – Baltic Studies: Building Bridges – will be held at the University of Melbourne on 15 October 2016.
Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies, Founded: 1968
The Association promotes the organization of interested scholars to increase the quality of research in Baltic Studies. Sponsors meetings and conferences for the exchange of professional views and the evaluation of research in Baltic Studies. Supports the dissemination of research and other information about Baltic Studies. Encourages any other support and recognition of Baltic scholars and studies to help develop increased competence in intra-regional, cross-disciplinary and specialized Baltic studies.
This year at conference will speak three Australian Latvian researchers from Sydney – Ilona Brūvers, Linda Ozers and Klāra Brūvers. Also Dr Uldis Ozolins from Melbourne.
Aicinam apmeklēt 2016. gada Austrālijas – Āzijas Baltijas studiju konferenci”Sadarbības tilti, kas notiks šī gada 15. oktobrī , Melburnas Universitātes telpās.
Asociācija ir dibināta 1968 gadā, atbalsta un popularizē paaugstinātu pētniecības kvalitāti Baltijas studijās.
Oktobra konferencē referēs arī četri Austrālijā dzīvojošie latvieši – Ilona Brūvers, Linda Ozers, Klāra Brūvers un Uldis Ozoliņš.
