Estonia has a new president!
The new head of state in Estonia is Kersti Kaljulaid, who becomes the country’s first-ever female head of state and the eighth Estonian president in all.
Kaljulaid used a live TV appearance on the evening of October 2 to identify the gender pay gap, innovation and defense as among her priorities as president.
Apsveicam Igauniju ar jaunu prezidenti!
Igaunijas parlaments Rīgikogu pirmdien, 3.oktobrī, par jauno prezidenti ievēlēja bezpartejisko politikas pētījumu centra “Praxis” padomes priekšsēdētāju, bijušo Igaunijas pārstāvi Eiropas Revīzijas palātā Kersti Kaljulaidu.
Jaunā prezidente solīja strādāt pie sarežģītajiem jautājumiem un mudināja atteikties no melnbalta pasaules skatījuma, meklējot dažādus ceļus jautājumu risināšanai.
