Melbourne Latvian High School

Melbourne Latvian High School has 3 classes operating. Many of the students that attend are in Years 9-11 in their Australian schools.

The aims of Melbourne Latvian High School are to improve student’s Latvian language, broaden their knowledge of Latvian history, ensuring classes are engaging, allow friendships to continue to develop while integrating students into the Latvian community.

The program includes Latvian language, history and singing lessons. The school operates Saturdays from 10:30-13:30, during the Australian school year. Classes are held in the Latvian School buildings, next to Melbourne Latvian House, 3 Dickens St. Elwood.

Adult language classes also are held for those that have already learnt Latvian.
