Latvian Australian Artisans’ Guild

Latvian Australian Artisans’ Guild

Aims

To foster Latvian artisan activity in Australia and to foster Latvian identity through Latvian applied arts.

Members have regular meetings, organize exhibitions, workshops, talks and markets. An important goal is to retain Latvian artisan works, tools and materials. If you know of any artisan materials which are no longer needed, please do not discard them: donate them to the Latvian Australian Artisans’ Guild. We will pass them on to relevant Latvian organisations, for exhibition or for use at our workshops in Melbourne or at the Latvian Summer High School in South Australia. Or we may sell them at one of our markets, 100% of the income going to support our projects. For further information contact the Guild.

Upcoming projects
